Editorial Standards
Heath Haven publishes content intended to help readers make informed decisions about wellness products, routines, and habits. These editorial standards describe how we research, write, and review what we publish.
Research Process
Our articles are built from a combination of sources: peer-reviewed scientific literature, guidance from recognized health authorities, manufacturer specifications, expert commentary, and aggregated user reviews. When we cite a specific claim — a statistic, a study finding, a clinical recommendation — we link to or reference the source where possible.
Product Reviews and Recommendations
Product recommendations are based on independent research. We evaluate products against the criteria most relevant to the use case: build quality, value, ingredient transparency for supplements, accuracy for measurement devices, comfort and durability for fitness gear, and so on.
We participate in the Amazon Associates Program and other affiliate programs (see our Affiliate Disclosure). Affiliate commissions do not influence which products we recommend or how we rank them. A higher commission rate does not earn a product a higher placement.
Accuracy and Corrections
We aim for accuracy in everything we publish. If we make a factual error, we correct it and note the correction at the bottom of the article. If you spot something that looks wrong, please email [email protected] and we will review it promptly.
Use of AI
We use AI tools to assist with research, drafting, and editing. All published content is reviewed before publication. AI-assisted drafts are treated as starting points, not finished articles, and are subject to the same editorial standards as any other content on the site.
What We Are Not
Heath Haven is a publication, not a clinic. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and our content is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified healthcare professional. See our Medical Disclaimer for the full statement.
Updates
The wellness landscape changes — new research, new products, new guidance. We update older articles when warranted. Significant updates are noted at the top of the article.
